It’s been a banner year for Buffalo’s secondary. First, Tre’Davious White was named AFC Defensive Rookie of the Month for September. Last month Micah Hyde was named to his first career Pro Bowl. Now Jordan Poyer has been named AFC Defensive Player of the Month for December.
Poyer finished his first season in Buffalo on fire. In Buffalo’s five December games, he posted 30 tackles, three interceptions, including one that he returned for a touchdown against New England and four pass breakups.
“I’m very honored to be recognized as that,” said Poyer. “It’s definitely a blessing.
