BATAVIA, N.Y. (AP) -- Jim Kelly is upbeat now that the Buffalo Bills Hall of Fame quarterback is back where he belongs.
Kelly said Monday it's awesome to be back at the helm of the 29th Jim Kelly Celebrity Classic. His return comes a year after he was unable to attend because a battle with cancer left him in a weakened state in a hospital bed.
There were plenty of friends and colleagues to welcome back Kelly at the golf course about a 45-minute drive outside of Buffalo.
Many former teammates were in attendance, as was longtime rival and fellow Hall of Famer Dan Marino.
