Following a celebrated 2023 campaign that saw Buffalo Bills running back James Cook take on a prominent role within the offense, many are quick to predict an even bigger jump by the third-year dual-threat back. Last season, Cook became the first Bills rusher to break the 1,000-yard milestone since 2017, when LeSean McCoy accomplished the feat.
Cook put together a fantastic sophomore season — one that, thanks in large part to a talented offensive line, earned him a trip to his first Pro Bowl. Per his entry at Pro Football Reference, Cook had 237 carries for 1,122 yards and two touchdowns, adding 44 receptions for 445 yards and four receiving scores during the 2023 regular season.
