Important Dates in Bills History: Nov. 8, 1986. Steve Tasker claimed from waiver wire

Important Dates in Bills History, presented by M&T Bank, helps fans recognize what’s important. In the NFL, complementary football in all three phases of the game is important.

At a meeting with his staff, Levy directed the attention of his coaches to look for special teams talent. Tight end coach Joe Faragalli, who had spent the season before on the staff of the Houston Oilers, spotted Tasker’s name on the waiver wire and brought it to Levy.
