Although he was selected by the Bills in the first round of the 1983 NFL Draft, QB Jim Kelly decided to pursue a career in the United States Football League with the Houston Gamblers. However, just under three seasons later in 1986, the Miami University product, found himself in Buffalo. A gunslinger, and all-around playmaker, it wasn’t long before Kelly settled into his new home.
