November 3, 1986 BULLOUGH OUT, LEVY IN
Bills founding owner Ralph C. Wilson, Jr. fired head coach Hank Bullough and replaced him with Marv Levy, former coach of the Kansas City Chiefs.
Levy went on to guide the Bills through the greatest era in team history with four consecutive Super Bowls, 11 playoff appearances, and NFL Coach of the Year honors in 1988. His 154 overall wins ranked 10th in NFL annals at the time of his retirement.
