Instead of suiting up on Sundays like he had for the previous eight years, Ihedigbo was on the couch. He bought NFL Sunday Ticket and watched the games from his house in Texas, all the while waiting for that call from his agent.
With the Bills in desperate need for safety help, that call came. Ihedigbo was signed five days before Buffalo took on the Bengals, and immediately knew he was going to be asked to play a big role in the team's defense.
“It was tough, believe me,” Ihedigbo said. “I’m a competitor. That’s the part of the game I love the most, just competing at a high level.
