On Wednesday, it was reported that Keon Coleman had signed his rookie four-year contract to play for the Buffalo Bills. What we weren’t certain of at that time were the specific numbers involved, even if we could make an educated guess based on players drafted at or around Coleman’s selection.
As the Bills’ top pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, Coleman landed with Buffalo at pick 33 — the top selection of Round 2, and the first name called on Day 2. The front office worked the phone lines to trade back twice in a bid to land both Coleman and a third-round pick that weekend.
