In a season when many outside of One Bills Drive expected the Buffalo Bills to undertake a retooling effort following an offseason where the team shed plenty of veteran talent, the Bills managed to capture their fifth-straight AFC East championship and had a chance to drive downfield and take the lead against the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Championship.
Instead, for the second straight year, the Bills’ offense was unable to take the lead over the Chiefs and Kansas City once again ended Buffalo’s Super Bowl dreams with a 32-29 triumph in the AFC title game.
