The Buffalo Bills and Patrick DiMarco have agreed to a contract restructure, cutting the fullback’s pay in the final year of his deal. The move was announced on the league’s transaction wire and was followed by details from The Buffalo News and Jay Skurski.
Skurski reports it as a $450,000 pay cut, with DiMarco’s cap hit going from $2.35 million to $1.9 million. Over The Cap reported it as a larger pay cut of $700,000. Skurski reported a per-game roster bonus, something that wasn’t previously reported on the old contract, so perhaps that is part of the restructure; Buffalo cuts his salary by $700,000 but he can earn $250,000 of it back in per-game roster bonuses.
