Despite Buffalo Bills fans, teammates, and beyond wishing and hoping Kyle Williams might reconsider retirement, the defensive tackle reiterated on Wednesday that this weekend’s Pro Bowl would be his final NFL game.
Speaking with ESPN’s Michael DiRocco from Orlando, Florida, where Pro Bowl practices began today, Williams explained that the sendoff from Bills fans, coaches, and ownership was one of a kind and it wouldn’t be fair to come back, even if he wanted to.
“No. I make a decision, I’ve got to go with it, especially the way things went down, the way [the] organization treated me, the way the fans showed up to support me,” said Williams, via Mike Rodak.
