There are very few comparisons you could make between the 2005 Pittsburgh Steelers and the 2019 Buffalo Bills. In 2005, the Steelers had established themselves as one of the most dominant teams in the AFC and had very little to prove, something you could not say of today's Bills. One comparison you could make however, is their backfields.
The Steelers’ backfield that year consisted of Hall of Fame running back Jerome Bettis, and second-year playmaker Willie Parker. Parker would receive most of the work load with Bettis being called on to “close” games.
