A day after NFL teams cut their rosters down to 53 players, waiver claims were officially processed for those released players. While the Buffalo Bills were not awarded any players on waivers, three Bills will now be joining new teams.
Cornerback Ryan Lewis was claimed by the Indianapolis Colts. In 2018, the rookie Lewis was promoted from Buffalo’s practice squad to their active roster, where he ultimately started three games and played in seven. He finished the season with 15 combined tackles, three passes defended, and two forced fumbles.
