Former Buffalo Bills second-round pick Cyrus Kouandjio had been a free-agent for nearly a month, but now he’s a member of the Detroit Lions.
On June 6, Dave Birkett of The Detroit Free Press reported Lions starting left tackle and 2016 first-round pick Taylor Decker underwent shoulder surgery. Three days later, Ian Rapoport tweeted that Decker would be out 4-6 months and that he could start the season on the PUP list.
Detroit was suddenly in the market for left tackle help.
On June 7, Kouandjio visited the Lions.
