Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that former Bills RB Jonathan Williams passed through waivers unclaimed on Monday and is now a free agent.
Williams, 23, is a former fifth-round pick of the Bills back in 2016. He was in the second year of his four-year, $2.58 million contract and set to make base salaries of $540,000, $630,000, and $720,000 over the next three years when the Bills waived him on Sunday.
In 2016, Williams appeared in 10 games and rushed for 94 yards on 27 carries (3.5 YPC) and one touchdown.
