Former Buffalo Bills safety Jordan Poyer is signing with the Miami Dolphins on a one-year deal, agents Drew Rosenhaus and Kyle Lincoln told ESPN's Adam Schefter on Tuesday.
Poyer, who turns 33 next month, started 16 regular-season games as a captain for the Buffalo Bills in 2023 after dealing with myriad injuries during the 2022 season. He was released as part of cost-cutting measures on March 6.
From 2021-22, Poyer led in passer rating allowed as the nearest defender in coverage with a minimum of 50 targets, only allowing opponents to complete 49% of passes.
