Already down a pair of outside linebackers one of the unfortunate outcomes of Saturday’s preseason opener was the loss of another. IK Enemkpali was carted off the field in the first half of the Bills preseason game against the Colts after suffering a serious knee injury.
“It looks like a major knee, so that’s a tough thing right there,” said head coach Rex Ryan of Enemkpali’s injury. “I don’t know the extent of it yet, but it looks like a major knee injury.”
Enemkpali was rushing the passer off the right edge of the formation and after engaging with the left tackle his right leg buckled awkwardly under his body weight and he collapsed onto his back.
