ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. -- Rex Ryan took a subtle jab at East Carolina University earlier this week, and one of the school's supporters wasn't happy about it.
Ryan, when speaking Monday about the Bills' upcoming regular-season finale against the New York Jets, said, "just to get a win, I don’t care if we’re playing East Carolina, you want to get a win, there’s no question about it."
Carl Davis, the former chair of the East Carolina Alumni Association, wrote Ryan, referencing how the Bills' coach father, former NFL coach Buddy Ryan, took a similar shot at East Carolina in 1989.
