The Buffalo Bills’ recent decision to release second-year running back Jonathan Williams was shocking but Williams figures to be just fine as the Denver Broncos have signed the running back to their practice roster.
Per Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, the 23-year-old Williams will be paid a salary of $510,000 by the Broncos. According to the Denver Post, Williams’ salary works out to $30,000 per week, which the is far and above what the publication says the 2017 minimum salary for practice-squad players is at $7,200 per week.
