Denny Kellington leaving Buffalo Bills for promotion with Carolina Panthers, per sources

Denny Kellington, a beloved member of the Buffalo Bills’ athletic training team, has accepted a new role as vice president of player health & performance with the Carolina Panthers, per Tom Pelissero citing sources. Kellington is most fondly remembered by the team, Bills Mafia, and the world for the life-saving role he played in response to safety Damar Hamlin’s on-field collapse due to commotio cordis.

Kellington’s ability to take full command and quickly process what was happening with Hamlin proved key to the young safety’s full recovery and return to the gridiron. One of voters with The Associated Press panel took notice of Kellington’s work, voting him as MVP in that 2023 NFL season.
