The Buffalo Bills and Audacy have named Chris Brown as the new “Voice of the Bills” on the heels of John Murphy’s retirement from play-by-play duties. Brown had been filling in on an interim basis for Murphy since January of 2023, while Murphy began his recovery from a stroke suffered the weekend prior to Buffalo’s 2022 NFL season Monday Night Football game at the Cincinnati Bengals.
Brown, who now takes the reigns on a full-time basis, brings a wealth of experience and ability to the position. With over a season behind the Bills’ broadcast booth mic now under his belt following the 2023 NFL season, Brown is ready to hit the ground running as he looks to continue the legacy of Bills play-by-play callers while putting his own spin on things.
