The Los Angeles Chargers and New England Patriots face off today at Gillette Stadium in a game with playoff seeding implications. Not for the Patriots, mind you. We’re of course talking about the Chargers and their 9-6 record — and the fight to make the playoffs as the six seed in the AFC race.
New England has proven to be an interesting opponent of late, with rookie quarterback Drake Maye having settled into a more consistent rhythm behind center. They’re not an easy out most weekends, which the Buffalo Bills can attest to following their hard-fought 24-21 victory in Week 16.
