The Carolina Panthers had to spend some extra time studying this week, according to ESPN team reporter David Newton. With the Buffalo Bills coming to town, Panthers head coach Ron Rivera didn’t want to be too careful - but this has nothing to do with former Panthers defensive coordinator Sean McDermott.
“Because former Panthers backup quarterback Joe Webb is on the Buffalo roster coach Ron Rivera said Carolina changed all of their signals and calls,” reports Newton.
McDermott was gone at the beginning of the offseason, same as running back Mike Tolbert and general manager Brandon Beane.
