The 2016 NFL salary cap could increase by more than $10 million, sources told ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter.
League officials informed teams at this week's owners meetings that the salary cap for next season will be between $150 million and $153.4 million, sources told Schefter.
The 2015 salary cap was set at $143.28 million. There are currently three teams that would be over a $150 million salary cap for next season: the Miami Dolphins, the New Orleans Saints and the Buffalo Bills.
