Camp Countdown - 9 - Will there be a sack resurgence?

The 2015 season had its share of shortcomings when it came to defensive performance. After being a top five defense in 2014, there was a slide in several areas in the first season under Rex Ryan. Nowhere was it more apparent than with Buffalo’s pass rush. Coming off a pair of seasons (2013, 2014) in which their combined sack total (111) was tops in the league, the Bills pass rush fell flat. Buffalo ranked 31st in sacks per play last fall and their sack total of 21 was the lowest in team history since the sack became a statistic in 1982.
