The Buffalo Bills reportedly “tried out” wide receiver Corey Davis, according to Field Yates. As pointed out by Yates, Davis has ended is temporary retirement in hopes of returning to play for an NFL team in 2024.
The 29-year-old Davis, was the fifth overall pick in the 2017 NFL Draft. Davis entered the league with the Tennessee Titans, playing four years there before joining the New York Jets in 2021. After two seasons with the Jets, Davis announced in late August of 2023 that he was temporarily retiring.
Following Davis’ announcement, the Jets placed him on reserve/retired list — meaning NY retains his rights as he looks to make a return.
