Back in May, Buffalo Bills sophomore wide receiver Zay Jones underwent knee surgery that was expected to sideline him throughout “the spring.” That vague timetable has recently been clarified. Bills coach Sean McDermott expects Jones to be ready for training camp at St. John Fisher he told reporters on Thursday before the team’s final minicamp practice.
When asked if Jones would be ready by the opening of camp on July 26th, McDermott said that he has “no reason to not believe that at this time.”
“[Jones] is going through that rehab progress and attacking it aggressively,” McDermott continued.
