Well #BillsMafia, it finally happened: the Buffalo Bills (9-7) snapped their 17-year playoff drought and qualified for the postseason for the first time since the 1999 season. Buffalo, the No. 6 seed in the AFC, travels to the Jacksonville Jaguars (10-6), the No. 3 seed and champions of the AFC South, for a Wild Card game at 1:05 p.m. Sunday at EverBank Field.
Sunday’s playoff meeting will be the 16th all-time between the Bills and the Jaguars, with the Bills owning an 8-7 record against Jacksonville.
The two teams have met in the playoffs once previously, in 1996, when the second-year Jaguars traveled to Western New York and defeated the Bills 30-27 in a Wild Card game.
