When the Buffalo Bills shipped Cordy Glenn and the 21st overall selection in the 2018 NFL Draft to the Cincinnati Bengals in exchange for the 12th overall pick in the same draft, most assumed that it was the first step towards trading up even higher in order to secure a franchise quarterback. That still may be the case; however, a report from Aditi Kinkhabwala of the NFL Network suggests that if another trade is yet to come, it won’t happen until the first selection has been made.
