After Saturday’s cut-down day, NFL teams were forced to reduce their rosters to 53 which meant that some talented players were out there on waivers. One team’s trash is another team’s treasure, and in the case of the Buffalo Bills, the team attempted to bolster its defensive line, only to lose out on a pair of waiver claims.
The Bills put in failed waiver claims on defensive tackle T.Y. McGill, who ultimately was claimed by the Los Angeles Chargers, and on defensive end Mario Edwards, who ultimately was claimed by the New York Giants.
