The Buffalo Bills will fittingly honor "The Voice of the Bills" by naming the broadcast booth after him.
The Buffalo Bills will honor longtime "Voice of the Bills" Van Miller in a ceremony before tonight's preseason opener. Miller passed away this July at the age of 87. The ceremony will not be open to the public. Miller's successor, John Murphy, and son, Van Miller, Jr., will speak at the ceremony.
Miller served 37 seasons as the play-by-play voice for the Bills and various other professional and amateur sports franchises in the Buffalo area.
