The Buffalo Bills are hosting offensive tackle Andre Smith on a free agent visit, according to ESPN’s Jeff Darlington.
Smith, 30, is an eight-year veteran who spent his first seven years with the Cincinnati Bengals, who drafted him with the sixth overall pick out of the University of Alabama in 2009. He signed with the Minnesota Vikings last season, but spent most of the year on injured reserve with a triceps injury.
While ostensibly drafted to be Cincinnati’s franchise left tackle, Smith has played on the right side for his entire NFL career.
