Tyrod Taylor has cleared the concussion protocol and will be under center for the Buffalo Bills season opener this Sunday against the New York Jets, reports Field Yates of ESPN.
Taylor was injured early in Buffalo’s third preseason game two weeks ago but managed to practice on Monday before returning fully on Tuesday. His back up, rookie Nathan Peterman, was preparing to take on the role of starting quarterback with Taylor unable to go the past couple weeks.
