The Buffalo Bills closed out their preseason with a 27-17 win over the Detroit Lions on Thursday. With final cuts just around the corner, let’s see who earned the chance to make a final impression on the coaching staff.
Quarterback
Peterman was impressive in his limited action, while Wenning led a couple scoring drives while completing only a third of his passes. Playing 53 snaps is about as close as he’ll get to the 53-man roster unless both Tyrod Taylor and T.J. Yates remain in the concussion protocol.
Banyard has had an excellent preseason as both a running back and a special teamer, and at this point it would be a surprise if he missed the final roster.
