The Buffalo Bills have signed wide receiver Jalen Virgil from their practice squad ahead of the team’s Week 10 game against the Indianapolis Colts. Virgil originally joined the Bills just ahead of the 2024 NFL season, signing to the practice squad on August 29.
Virgil has twice been a practice-squad call-up this season for Buffalo, in Weeks 8 and 9 against the Seattle Seahawks and Miami Dolphins, respectively. Virgil is now guaranteed a spot on the active 53-man roster for three weeks.
When we announced the news of Virgil’s signing over the summer, there was little more to go on than speculation that he might serve to shake up the pecking order as a return specialist.
