Just over a year ago, the Buffalo Bills signed wide receiver Deonte Thompson on October 17th, and he exploded onto the scene with big catches. After the season, he signed a big deal with the Dallas Cowboys but was released. Now a free agent, he has chosen to re-sign with the Bills on Wednesday.
The Bills reportedly met with Thompson during the offseason in hopes of re-signing him then, but were unable. They most likely offered less than the one-year, $2.5 million deal the Cowboys gave him with a $1 million signing bonus.
