Buffalo Bills sign UDFA LB Shayne Simon, designate OL Tommy Doyle as waived/injured

The Buffalo Bills have signed undrafted free-agent linebacker Shayne Simon, and designated offensive lineman Tommy Doyle as waived/injured.

Simon joins the Bills after a collegiate career at Pittsburgh. The 6’2”, 230-pound, 24-year-old linebacker spent the last two seasons playing for the Pitt Panthers after four years at Notre Dame.

Upon his transfer to Pittsburgh Simon found a better opportunity. With Pitt, Simon made 94 tackles (52 solo), 13 tackles for loss, seven sacks, plus one forced fumble and one fumble recovery.
