On Monday afternoon, the Buffalo Bills announced that they signed tight end Kyle Carter. Carter, 26, was an undrafted free agent in 2016, and appeared in three games with the Minnesota Vikings during the 2017 season. The 6’3” 245 pound Carter played at Penn State, where he caught 30 passes for 288 yards and a touchdown during his college career.
Carter joins a tight end room with the top three options out of commission. Tyler Kroft (foot) is currently in a walking boot, and Jason Croom (hamstring) and Dawson Knox (hamstring) are dealing with soft tissue injuries which could linger for up to a few weeks.
