Even though the Buffalo Bills front office will need to cut their roster in half by week’s end, this didn’t stop them from extending the team’s starting kicker, Stephen Hauschka, to a two-year contract extension.
The 34-year old is entering his 13th season in the league and his third with the Buffalo Bills. He joined the Bills in 2017 as a free agent, signing a three-year deal worth $8.85 million. This extension will now keep him in Buffalo through the 2021 season.
According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the extension is worth $8 million over the two years.
