The Buffalo Bills signed safety Kareem Jackson to a one-year contract on Tuesday morning. In signing Jackson, the Bills bolster a safety room in need of veteran talent. On Monday head coach Sean McDermott stated that veteran safety Mike Edwards was dealing with a hamstring injury, and was termed “week-to-week.”
Jackson, 36, is entering his 15th season in the NFL. The former first-round pick of the Houston Texans is known to be a vocal locker room leader, with an on-field intensity that has repeatedly found him on the wrong end fines for illegal hits.
