The Buffalo Bills have added another quarterback and this one has strong ties to general manager Brandon Beane and head coach Sean McDermott. After working him out on Sunday, Buffalo added former Carolina Panthers quarterback Joe Webb on Monday.
The news comes on the heels of Webb’s release by the Panthers at roster cutdown day. Buffalo released their fourth quarterback, Keith Wenning, this weekend. Starter Tyrod Taylor and third-string quarterback T.J. Yates are still in the NFL’s concussion protocol, necessitating the move to bring in another signal caller in case both of them can’t go Sunday.
