The Buffalo Bills have signed punter Lachlan Edwards, releasing Kaare Vedvik in a special teams shuffle. Edwards, who played the last four seasons with the New York Jets, will now be the chief competitor against incumbent Corey Bojorquez.
Vedvik signed with the Bills earlier in the offseason, with an opportunity to earn the punting job. Bojorquez had one of the worst net punting averages last year, at 38.2 yards per punt, and the Bills were seeing if Vedvik (who could also play kicker) would be more effective.
