The Buffalo Bills started the week with only eight unrestricted free agents, and even though Brandon Beane is in Florida for the East-West Shrine Game practices, they’re still making progress on signings. The team announced on Wednesday that they’ve re-signed offensive lineman Jeremiah Sirles to a one-year contract extension for the 2019 season.
Sirles signed with the Bills as a free agent in September when the team traded veteran Marshall Newhouse to the Carolina Panthers. He was active in twelve games this season, and between injuries and lineup experimentation, started five for the team.
