The Buffalo Bills have elevated wide receiver Duke Williams from the practice squad to the active roster.
Buffalo had an open roster spot following the release of tackle Connor McDermott. It was seen as a precaution for the QB decision regarding Josh Allen's concussion.
Williams had a good preseason and many Bills fans had been clamoring for his placement on the active roster. With Cole Beasley resting Friday, Robert Foster limited with a groin injury, Devin Singletary sidelined with a hamstring problem, and Corey Thompson out with an ankle injury, Williams could contribute on offense and special teams this weekend.
