It’ll still be the same old stadium that we’ve grown to love over the years, but it’s true that it will be taking on a new name soon. The team announced a few days ago that they have reached an agreement with the buffalo-based hat company, New Era, for the naming rights to the Buffalo Bills‘ stadium.
The Bills’ stadium first took the name Rich Stadium back in 1972, named after the food service company Rich Products. The name stuck for 25 years before it was renamed Ralph Wilson Stadium in 1998 — named after the team’s founder Ralph Wilson.
