The Buffalo Bills defeated the New York Jets on Sunday, winning a 32-6 contest that was never in doubt. After struggling for over a month on offense, the team finally put it all together, racking up 393 total yards on a top-flight Jets defense. It’s the most points that a team has scored on the Jets since December 5, 2021, and it’s the second-highest yardage total allowed by Gang Green this season.
Given those numbers, it’s no surprise that the Bills rose a bit in the power rankings this week. While the excitement nationally over the win was dampened by the fact that New York’s JV offense put the team in bad spots repeatedly, the Bills earned kudos for dismantling a strong defense in interim offensive coordinator Joe Brady’s first time calling plays for the team.
