After pulling out a sloppy 23-20 victory over the New York Jets, the Buffalo Bills regained a chokehold on the AFC East. At 4-2, the Bills have a two-game lead on their nearest competitors, and they also have defeated those teams once, so they own a tiebreaker, as well. In short, Buffalo positioned itself very well by winning the third leg of a difficult three-week stretch of play on the road.
Those that compile power rankings were not terribly impressed, however. Given how close the score was — combined with the number of miscues the Jets made on the night — it seems that many, if not most, believe that it should have been Gang Green coming out on top Monday night.
