Buffalo Bills re-sign RB Ty Johnson

The Buffalo Bills have re-signed unrestricted free agent running back Ty Johnson to a two-year deal. Johnson, 27, was originally drafted by the Detroit Lions in the sixth round (186th overall) of the 2019 NFL Draft. After stints with the Lions and New York Jets, he has spent the past two seasons in Buffalo — emerging as a key contributor in the backfield.

Johnson has quickly become a fan favorite and productive dual-threat back, averaging an impressive 4.4 yards per carry in 2023 and 5.2 yards per carry in 2024.
