This past April, the Buffalo Bills addressed their need to add backfield depth by selecting running back Ray Davis in Round 4 of the 2024 NFL Draft. The Kentucky product had a fantastic final collegiate year in the SEC, rushing for 1,066 yards at 5.7 yards per carry. In fact, Davis gained 1,000 or more yards rushing with three different programs in five seasons.
It’s no secret that the Bills favored the run last season when Joe Brady took over as offensive coordinator, and the offense ended the season among the NFL’s top seven in rushing yards.
