Josh Allen’s blistering-hot start to the 2020 season has moved Buffalo’s quarterback into rare territory. The Buffalo Bills are 3-0, and one of the NFL’s hottest offenses, mainly thanks to Allen’s performance. Now he’s earned a major accolade: AFC Offensive Player of the Month for September.
It’s well-deserved. Allen leads the AFC in passing yards, yards per attempt, passer rating, passing touchdowns, and total touchdowns. He’s ranked second in the NFL for each of those stats. Only a few players in 2020 have burst out the gates with the same ferocity: vaunted names like Russell Wilson and Aaron Rodgers.
